Workshops + Presentations

I’ve presented to colleges, library and teacher associations, women’s groups, non profits, museums and wellness centers among so many other groups. I always learn something when I give people a chance to understand the process of writing and making books, see artwork up close and inspire ideas about making art and inventing story. I discover through their questions and curiosity…why I do what I do! My workshops run the gamut of subjects: from book making, portfolio preparation, painting and drawing with a model set up, experiments with color to character studies and exercise in visual storytelling. I love diving in to a new way of exploring a subject, and workshops provide a way to teach a group and see immediate results…in a day, a few days or a few weeks.
